About ECF Special Alloys
What We Do
ECF Special Alloys are an ISO 9001, ISO 3834-2 and ASME U STAMP approved fabricator for the offshore oil and petrochemical process plant industries.
ECF was established in 1993 and was approved to BS EN ISO 9001 in 1995. In 2009 we achieved ASME U STAMP accreditation for the fabrication of Pressure Vessels to ASME VIII div 1. In June 2014 we achieved BS EN ISO 3834-2 As well as our fabrication service we offer a full subcontract design and drawing package. The company has an ongoing commitment to maintain and improve the high quality and standards required by our Off Shore and Petro-Chemical customers.
ECF Special Alloys specialises in the welding fabrication of exotic materials for example, Titanium, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex, 6MO, Phosphor Bronze, Nickel, Inconel, Incoloy, Monel, Cupro Nickel, Hastelloy C276 and Hastelloy B2 & B3.
As a specialist fabricator, we are able to concentrate in this field and as a consequence, can give a fast response to enquiries, a total commitment to quality and can achieve reliable, on time deliveries. Having qualified staff and skilled (coded) welders we can comply with all current manufacturing specification including PED PD 5500, ASME Section VIII Div 1 and Norsok standard.
Full co-operation is given to Inspecting Authorities and Insurance Company Surveyors for them to oversee manufacture, inspection and testing at all stages of production.
Our staff have experience in the fabrication techniques of all types of pipework, heat exchanges, filters, pressure vessels, thermocouples and refurbishment repair to process plants.

The National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors - Certificate of Authorization
ECF Special Alloys Ltd is authorized to apply the “NB” mark and register boilers, pressure vessels, or other pressure retaining items with the National Board in accordance with it’s provisions.
